Assessments & External Examinations

As an international school, Inspire Academy has adopted international attainment standards and assessment methods to evaluate teaching strategies and pupil performances.

Personal and class goals are monitored and recorded.

Comprehensive reports on levels of attainment are sent home twice a term.

GL Assessments are used to measure reading levels, progress in Math, English and Science. As well, CAT 4 assessments are administered in Years 3 and 5 to create a reliable picture of cognitive abilities and how to extend them.

Year 6 pupils sit for the National Common Entrance Exam in April.

Inspire Academy has adopted a modern online assessment called GL Assessments which tests students’ cognitive abilities, reading skills, emotional well-being, and special needs.

The Assessment Coordinator serves as a resource for assessment information; develops and coordinates testing schedules; develops and implements changes in procedures for testing, and serves as a resource person for assessment issues.
